OnRamp connects talented newcomers with leading tech companies

We created our OnRamp bootcamp to jumpstart the careers of young marketers and career pivoters who want to join next-generation tech companies instead of taking some boring old job at a traditional company.

Marketing Team Collaborating

Why marketers and companies need OnRamp

New marketing grads, early-career marketers and career pivoters have great skills. But they often find it’s tricky to land great marketing roles in tech companies. That’s because it’s rare to get the kind of digital marketing chops in college or university or on the job in a traditional industry that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.

OnRamp changes all that. It’s a bootcamp that bridges the gap between the day someone graduates or makes a career switch and the day they arrive for their first day of work at a cool, growing tech company.

Practical experience that gets you ready to get hired

For marketers, this isn’t about more tests and studying. You’ve already got your degree. In OnRamp, you’ll get an intense, real-world, get-your-hands-dirty experience that culminates in introductions to our massive network of tech companies: the same ones that are looking to hire new marketing talent for their businesses. You’ll walk out ready to design strategies and campaigns, with the skills to execute them and drive measurable results.

OnRamp is built for and with the Alberta tech community

The OnRamp bootcamp is a partnership between major stakeholders across the Alberta technology ecosystem. It’s designed and led by the tech industry’s leading training organization, 321 Growth Academy, which has trained hundreds of tech entrepreneurs and their teams from across and beyond Alberta.

OnRamp is built in partnership with the A100, a network of successful Alberta tech entrepreneurs who bring their connections and job opportunities to OnRamp participants. The program is supported by funding from SAIT’s School of Advanced Digital Technology and Alberta Enterprise Corporation.
